Klankfest  -  the ultimate gathering of Ghent’s nightlife -  started with a bang and will go out with a bang. Decadance, the club centrally located at the Overpoort, hardly needs an introduction. This legendary underground club is unique in Ghent’s nightlife thanks to its long opening hours. Decadance attracts a varied crowd with many different concepts, including both young students and slightly older age groups. It's a place where any party-freak will find his groove. In short, the perfect grand finale for KLANKFEST which will obviously have very long opening hours. Ready for one more extra long dance marathon?

Main act for this final night is Gary Beck. Known and respected for his unique sound, he has gained support from the best names in the business and released music on some of techno’s leading labels and institutions such as Drumcode, Cocoon and Saved as well as his own BEK Audio. Since his emergence onto the scene in 2007, Beck has accumulated an impressive list of achievements. Highlights include a BBC Radio 1Essential Mix and a Boiler Room session, as well as numerous collaborations with similarly exceptional talents such as Green Velvet, Mark Broom and Speedy J. 2012 saw the release of his seminal debut album 'Bring a Friend' on the legendary Soma Records label. In addition to a packed performance schedule, Beck spends time as head of BEK Audio, an imprint which has quickly become one of the most revered techno labels in the scene.

He will be joined by Cuartero, a young producer from Malaga (Spain) who has produced on labels such as Desolat, Moon Harbour, Saved Records, Viva Music and more. Achieving great national and international acclaim with each release, most of those tracks made it into the Beatport Top 100. Artists such as Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Robert Dietz, Paco Osuna, Nicole Moudaber and Stever Lawler are playing his tracks in venues such as Cocorico, Amnesia, Space Ibiza and Surfcomber, among many others. As an artist and a producer, Cuartero ́s main objective is to keep innovating and focusing every effort in to his music, his life passion.

Big talent from our own grounds comes in the form of Raving George. This young lady is only 23 years young, but already crowned the high priestess of Belgian dance-halls. She hypnotizes people with her mesmerizing mix of techno related music and makes it impossible for anyone to stand still. She will take you by the hand into her domain of beats, synths and strange sounds and she’ll only let you go when she wants you to go completely crazy to one of her tracks as ‘Obverse’ on Crux Records or ‘Monodon Monoceros’ on UK based label Bad Life.

Pete Howl is not only Decadance’s main resident and party-promoter, he’s also considered 'King of the Afterparty' by many. He knows how to howl at the moon as no other, leading a pack of die hard night wolves throughout 5 to 6 hour sets. Sending out constant diversity and well balanced suspense to the floor, he is in fact the guy that keeps the night young. So young that daytime often has to struggle to finally take over again. So give your sharp senses a treat and follow Pete into his favorite woods of quality dance music. Howling is allowed.

Another very talented young lady doing good things with tech house, techno and deep house is Leesa. At the very start of her career, she won a couple of DJ contests and from then on, she sat on a musical rollercoaster. She released 4 EP's on the Atmosphere Records label and played at numerous well known venues such as Café d’Anvers, Decadance, Culture Club, 10 Days Off, Laundry Day, I Love Techno 2011 and many more. Little by little, she's conquering other countries as well and is a Playground resident on Studio Brussels since 2012.

Ode Maen started to collaborate with Tom, the captain of his future agency and residency, Sweet Trade / Feestgedruis in 2010. Heavily involved with heart and soul, the collaboration flourished. It brought him to the stages of Extrema festival, ADE, Lost Theory (Croatia), Transahara (Morocco), Fuse, Café d’Anvers, The Wood, La Rocca and of course many well known Feestgedruis festivities. As we speak Ode Maen is working on a more organic minimal techno vibe. And it’s in that vibe that he found his match in Massaar who got inspired by and driven into music by Richie Hawtin and his Minus label. Massaar his performances are always refreshing as he spends hours searching for new music & sounds to please ears & mind. By working with his controllers he creates his very own style. He is now also part of the Feestgedruis crew and takes over the Visa room in Decadance on a regular basis for allnighter sets with Trixy.

Beauhause are two girls who met each other in Ghent dancing on housebeats. Both passionate about music and entertaining, they joined their forces into a musical project. Since they started in February 2013, they’ve been playing at several clubs in Belgium such as Decadance, Culture Club, Versuz, Forty Five, Club 69 and La Rocca. Renowned festivals such as Tomorrowland, Daydream and now also Pukkelpop quickly followed. They are now also running their own night at Decadance called Abend, an evening where seasons are celebrated.

Over the years Seba Lecompte has heated up dance-floors all over Belgium. Highlights of 20 years behind the decks are his sets at places such as Fuse, Kozzmozz, I Love Techno, 10 Days Off, Cityparade, Café D'Anvers, Decadance, Club Silo, Laundry Day, Culture Club, Cherry Moon, Made In Brussels, Ultra, Muzzic, ... and many more. Since 2004 till present, Seba is one of the resident dj's at Club Decadance where he plays on a weekly base and organizes different past and current party concepts as SoundAttack, Minor Moves and Bang The Box.
Leminal is one of the more recent residents of Decadance where you’ll often find him behind the decks on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

A great combination of the older and new generations, both behind and in front of the decks, that’s how we’d like to close off what will undoubtedly be an amazing 9 nights of Klankfest. We hope to see you there too!
